Range. Native range Australia, Northen Mariana Islands, Federated States of Mi­cronesia, Guam, Palau, the Philippines, Soloman Islands, and Singapore. Now very widespread in the tropics and subtropics of both the Old and New Worlds, especially in damp or wet locations. In Myanmar, found in Yangon.
